I am a resident of Saddlehorn and work at Sage Ridge School.  The School is in the process of recruiting international students and 3 are coming from China.  Before they can be issued an I-20 for immigration so they can apply for their visa, they need to have an address of a host family here in Reno.  Because Saddlehorn is so close to the school, it would be a great place to have a host family.  The following is a write up to attract host families:

 

    Sage Ridge School is seeking host families for incoming international students from China for the 2008-09 school year. The School has pre-qualified these students as having an exceptional interest in studying in America. Each foreign family will provide the host family with a monthly stipend to cover food, lodging, and transportation.  Personal expenses (e.g. shopping, movies, etc.) are the responsibility of the student, not the host family.  If you would enjoy the cultural exchange and experience of hosting one of these students, please contact Carol Murphy at 775-852-6222 for more information.
